What does it take to be a pious woman (bagaimana menjadi wanita solehah)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

Every muslimah wife in this world want to be a pious (solehah) wife. But it takes a very rough and hard job to achieve that rank. It is not actually simple. And there's a fact: It does not depend on who is your husband is. Here's my arguement.

1. This week, I have been thinking of how could I be a pious wife. I found one of Sheikh Ali Jaber's lecture on this. What can I conclude, however your husband is, as a wife, you can choose to be a pious wife if you want to. He told a story that a scholar woman who treated her husband so specially, until his husband, who was a just no one, turn into a scholar himself. Masha Allah so powerful. So we do not have to wait to be led by a soleh man to be a solehah wife as many people say.

2. Look at the stories in the Quran about the pious women, who Allah promised to them Jannah (paradise); Maryam and Asiah. Maryam has no husband, she served Allah through her worship and bore the hardship of delivering and raising a son without a father, Nabi Isa alaihissalam. While Asiah, is the wife of the most wicked man in the ancient history, the Pharoah (Firaun). She was tortured to death by her own husband, for her faith in Islam. She saw her house in Jannah before her death.

3. Look at the the stories of Prophet Lut. He has a wife, who left behind, together with the people of Sodom in. Even though her husband is a prophet, this never hindrance her to plan something that bring Allah's wrath.

It's hard, but never give up to gain that rank of pious wife. It requires knowledge, wisdom and patience. These can be obtained through endless learning, practising the sunnah and train the patience.

Never lose hope, Allah will give anything you asked for, so ask for it. Ask to become a pious woman. And this writing, is not because I am good at it. This is just to strengthen my own self who is struggling very hard.

Inshaallah. We'll see you there :)
